In order to contact Dr. Patterson in case of an emergency please call the practice number of 919-644-6400. If this call is during regular business hours you will be given Dr. Patterson's pager number, which you may call and leave a message; he will contact you as quickly as possible to discuss your situation. Depending on the nature of the emergency he may be able to see you in a short period of time. If he determines that the emergency is serious enough he may refer you to a local veterinary hospital which is better equipped to deal with critical situations. His primary concern is that your pet receive the care it needs on a timely basis.
